My Testimonial with Dr. Wigoda's Plastic Surgery for Breast Augmentation

My Experience: Week 4 of my Post Surgery

Hello Everyone!

This is Week 4 with my new boobies and I visited the doctor today to start the "massaging"!
For a little update on how they feel? They're still very sensitive but not as much as my week 3 post.

Like I promised, I am updating since I visit my PS today! It went very well, he removed the rest of my bandages and I was actually able to see and feel my little scars. And as promised, I am going to tell you how he taught me to massage my boobies! He specifically told me to push them to the center and up from the sides? I was a little confused at first because if they're going to continue to "fall and fluff" to look more natural, why am I pushing them up?
Well I got my answer... pushing them "up" from the sides makes them center better when they continue to fall for the next 4-6 months! So I kind of see what hes getting at. So I'm told to do this as often as possible so they center better and to continue to wear my sports bras, but i dont need to wear the center closure ones anymore. Something a little tighter to keep them in place when you get done massaging is KEY!

Whew, my Plastic Surgeon is the best, check him out! www.drwigoda.com for those who are in the South Florida area!

So, I left and came home. I realized that both of my scars are healed except for this one little tiny part on the edge that's not as healed as the rest of my skin so I'm paying close attention to it so it doesn't get infected.
Oh! and I'm starting to get feeling in my right nipple!!! Also, all the skin under both of my nipples is back as well. My nerves are just slowly waking up the PS said. I was told to come back in three months to check up but to not hesitate to call if anything!

So I will update with photos if I see any change in the "falling" but nothing since the last post of photos.

GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!

Day 14:

So ladies, as you can see:
not much of a difference at all when it comes to the downsizing in weeks... it takes MONTHS...
you can see also that my right is lower than my left. not by much but a woman who is staring at these constantly, knows the slight difference. and its normal!
More updates coming next Wednesday when I see my doctor. I will post my experiences with massaging and everything my doctor tells me!

so stay tuned!

My Experience: Week 3 of My Post Surgery

Good Morning!

(tomorrow) is officially 3 weeks since my surgery!

Now... the BIG question:

How do I feel?

Well, to be very honest, I'm an extremely impatient person, so I am DYING for them to "fall and fluff"! The sensation in my nipples are coming back ever-so slightly, I just have to keep telling myself that this is normal. They have become extremely sensitive though, so much that sometimes I can't walk much because it hurts when they rub against my sports bra. (yes, I am still wearing the front-closure one that I got for my surgery) and its getting tighter, which means they're falling a tiny bit! My right boobie is falling quicker then my left. (hate being that one girl that heals differently...) but its ok! you might be that 1 out of 10 girls too, so dont worry!
I went to my Doctor last Wednesday and he took out my 2 stitches and re-bandaged me up. He also told me that the nipple sensation will come back in time, and that I just put my body through a massive spin and put foreign objects in it too and to let my body do the work. LIGHT MASSAGING! until after I see him, next Wednesday. He said that the massaging isn't necessary but if i insisted in it then to go light, and when I come back and see him, he'll teach me light techniques on how to massage them and move them to the center if my chest, it not going to be comfortable but it will make the center cleavage look more natural when I start moving them around... I still haven't gone to the beach, they haven't fallen much to show them off yet.

So all-in-all, my boobies are doing well, just extremely sensitive... like, almost way too much. I've actually taken all of my muscle relaxers and pain killers so I can sleep the whole night! I sleep with my sports bra on even when the doctor said I don't have to. BUT listen ladies, if you want pretty boobies for A LONG TIME, wear a sports bra when you go to bed from now until forever. I've heard scary stories about women who stopped wearing a sports bra months after their and they're boobies aren't as perky anymore, they've fallen out of their muscle pocket (if you have had submuscular surgery).
Also, unfortunately I'm suffering from an allergic reaction from my favorite chocolate ice cream which i now can't ever eat again! so my chest and face and top shoulders broke out into a little rash :( so i have the boobies i want to enjoy but i can't because of my rash)
So... I will update my blog next week (Wednesday) and talk about my doctors advice and share my new knowledge about my boobies and some new techniques about how to massage and move around your implants!

 YAY!
3 WEEKS!

My Experience: Day 3 of My Post Surgery

Hello!

So! I'm sorry I didn't update when I came back from my first post surgery appointment, but Dr. Wigoda answered all my questions positively!
I am able to drive (unless I took my narcotic medications, then no way!) I'm also able to go to the beach if my incisions aren't exposed to the sun. I was suggested to wear a sports bra for a while (I'm thinking until they fall a bit more, like 2 months at least) I was also suggested to wait to shop until they've fallen a bit more. So, everything went very well! Dr. Wigoda is completely honest and tells you expert advice and not "what you might want to hear" thats why I chose him for my surgery. He doesn't sugar-coat anything...

I'm completely able to raise my hands above my head, virtually no pain in my chest! I'm still a bit uncomfortable in my upper back/lower neck, still achy and sore. I actually slept in my bed last night with my boyfriend instead of the recliner because it was actually making the back pain worse. Woke up feeling like a million bucks except I unfortunately starting my period, which I was told can higher the chances of a yeast infection (due to the antibiotics and steroids killing both good and bad bacteria) but to avoid that, I'm eating my yogurts (live cultures / probiotic) and fruits & veggies and keeping up with a great diet! My implants softened up a bit so I took my first walk today twice around my cul-de-sac and down my street. It tightened my chest muscles and I felt my implants tighten up :( but my back felt a lot better! (ugh I miss my gym routine!)
I came home, took a muscle relaxer, put the electric heating pad on my back and relaxed for the rest of the day. Also my incisions are sore, as I can now feel them since the numbness went away in that little area but I still can't feel my nipples or the skin under them, Dr. Wigoda said its normal and it might last a week or so. I'm starting to slowly massage them for about 3-5 minutes on the top only every 4 hours and raise my arms to stretch my chest muscles every hour. All in all, I'm feeling great!

There is no difference in the drop of my implants so there's no reason to post a picture until I see a little more results!

I will keep you guys posted!

HAPPY FRIDAY & ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

My Experience: Day 1 of My Post Surgery

Good Morning!

So I slept on my recliner at the 45 degree angle I was suppose to. I woke up at 2AM with a very very stiff back! I normally have 3MG melatonin (sleeping) pills on hand since I'm such a light sleeper, I took two and woke up at 630AM still sore but much better. my boobies haven't fallen much but they've filled in just a tiny bit. They're still numb around the nipple area and underneath by my cuts. I'm not sure if they stitched me up? or if they laser-burnt them shut. I'll find out soon though, I want to wait until after my check up today to shower too. 11Am for my check-up appointment. I made myself some breakfast and took my muscle relaxers, since my chest felt tight; my antibiotics, so I don't get any infections; my steroids for my swelling, and I was going to hold out on the pain killers because they knock me out but once I got up and actually started walking around, I needed them... my back was starting to hurt again.they haven't fallen much and I really hope they're not too high. I really trust my doctor so I cant wait to go to my post-op check up today at 1130AM.
Here are some questions I have on my mind for him, maybe you might have the same on your day?
I wrote down all my questions from:
  • "when can I start driving?"
  • "when can I start shopping?"
  • "how long do I wear the sports bra?"
  • "when can I go to the beach?"
  • "should I start the 'recommended' massaging techniques so they start to fall and fluff?"
I'm sure I'll have a lot more and I will post again tonight before bed. But for now, I'm resting at my 45 degree angle, which feels really good on my back and chest for now. I lift my arms slowly up over my head ever hour and move by back around every 15 minutes to stretch the back muscles. I mean lets face it, I just added an extra 5 pounds to my front, it will definitely affect my back, ha ha! all of my friends are texting me and wanting to see them but I don't want to show anyone until they're absolutely perfect! (if you know what real woman think, you'll know exactly what I mean about wanting to show them off when theyre perfect)
So for now, I'm going to rest and wait! keep you fellow woman updated soon!

Day 1: Post-Op (450cc High Profile Silicone Implants)

My implants are very high right now, the top cleavage above my ace-bandage are my actual implants. If you look closely, my areola (nipple) is located low almost to the fold of my ace-bandage.

My Experience: Pre-Surgery Prep day!

Hello! :)

Here's My Prep Day List:

This is a at-office operation prep-list, if your going to a hospital for your surgery, there'd be a VERY different prep list, mine was an at-office surgery

(REMINDER! everyone's prep day is different, don't go overboard like some woman, trust me, you won't want sh*t when you wake up but to go home)

The day before my surgery, I completely cleaned my house. not like, Spring cleaning type but pretty close to it! I just know my boyfriend wont want to clean anything (as I am the stay-at-home girlfriend and a complete clean freak) I thoroughly cleaned my bathroom, dusted, and cleaned all my glass, did all the laundry and wore something I know I wont want to wear in a week. Me and Sean went out and purchased a front closure sports bra at Macy's and then picked up all of my meds including a weekly pill case. I also purchased Dial Foam Complete soap rather than the Hibiclens soap. you basically just need an antibacterial because they still prep you before surgery! So don't buy the $10 bottle of 8oz soap, TRUST ME! So I also washed my pillow case and fluffed the actual pillow in the dryer for 30 minutes so it wouldn't be flat on my back (ONLY DO IT WITH SOFT FEATHERED PILLOWS! COTTON WILL BURN!) Then, I put everything in a recycling grocery bag. Now.. some people are going crazy and buying chap stick, new body pillows, etc. . Listen...
Dont go overboard!
You're already paying thousands for you boobies, no need to buy stuff you'll only use for like a week! think about it before you buy it. 90% of the time, you don't need it...

So, here's my Lists (many surgeons lists as well)

    PRE-SURGERY NIGHT:
  • NO EATING OR DRINKING WATER AFTER MIDNIGHT! I ate a little bit of applesauce at 1145PM
  • take out all piercings (including body) nose, tummy, cartilage, ears, tongue, etc.
  • take the morning shower - wash and massage you boobies for 10 minutes! time youself!
  • Once you get out, NO LOTION, NO POWDER, NO DEODORANT! NOTHING! JUST TOWEL DRY!
    PACK:
  • pain meds/pills
  • pillow
  • bottle of water (for when you wake up)
  • over-sized front closure shirt (nothing tight, you will not want to lift your arms and try putting them in a tiny jacket)
  • cellphone
  • slides or flip flops (no sneakers, you'll be too loopy to put on sneakers)
  • socks

And thats it! Try to get some sleep and good luck tomorrow with your own surgery! :)

My Experience: Surgery Day

OK! So..
Today is Surgery Day!
January 7, 2014
It's 630AM, I'm wide-awake and nervous, but excited! I took my second antibacterial shower. massageing them for the (as told by surgeon) 10 minutes. My boyfriend Sean is just now getting up and feeding our little furry children. I'm dressed in a sports bra (which I probably wont fit into again) sweat pants and a long-john shirt. We left at 715AM and quickly stopped at Starbucks to get him coffee and now on our way to Dr. Paul Wigoda's office (located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) Surgery appointment time is at 8AM. I went in and was told to strip to nothing but panties. then, I met his surgical tech, Sergio, who was very comforting about the procedure and was there to prep me for the anesthetics with my IV. Now Marie, the nurse and receptionist, (whom is the absolute most SWEETEST woman I've ever met) took me to go pee pee and walked me to the surgical room. I kissed and tightly hugged my amazing boyfriend and went in. i told Sergio my anxiety was through the roof! he said, "well ok then! lets get the party started early!" I watched him but the needle in my IV and that was it... I was OUT.

Two hours supposedly past...
the procedure is only 45 minutes!
(waking up takes a while they said)

When I woke up and the first thing I realized is that I was INCREDIBLY COLD! I was shaking violently and couldn't control tightening my sore *ss chest up because of it! it was HORRIBLE waking up like that! then i started feeling that my chest was extremely really swollen and tight but my back was ABSOLUTELY KILLING ME and I felt as if I had 5 martini's (or my choice of drink, an entire bottle of Jack Daniels!). Sean helped me up and put my pants, socks and over-sized front closure sweater on. And I couldn't stop talking! I dreamt of running through beautiful cornfields with my dad! ha ha! :) I remember not being able to talk or really walk at all until I got home as it wore off just a bit. My AMAZING boyfriend went to get my soup and crackers since I cant take my pain meds unless I ate (excruciating back pain). When he came back, he had about 10 bags of ALL of my favorite foods! from my ice creams to cereal, pastas, soups, snacks, cookies, you name it! He's the BEST!

I just want to say:
I don't know who you are reading this, but if you never got to experience the true compassionate love a real man  can give... I pray in my heart you find it. I'm one of the luckiest women alive. This man has my heart, soul, & my entire being and he loves me so conditionally. Did I mention he paid for the entire procedure since I'm a stay-at-home woman? I'm talking from my meds, to my blood work, everything... I mean, it has nothing to do with the money. but the overwhelmingly love he shows me about me wanting to be happy with my body I really thought never existed but in fairy tales. I'm truly blessed :)

Ok, BACK to the story!
So, I ate light (creamy tomato soup and saltines) and took my pain meds at 2PM. I fell asleep immediately at like 215PM and now its 730PM, my boyfriend is cooking dinner as I'm gently massaging my new boobies..

I will update tomorrow! hopefully the swelling has gone down a bit!
